The North American Spine Institute was created in 2006 to help both doctors and patients understand, educate, inform, and set a standard of care without the barriers of a single profession on the topics of whiplash and whiplash related disorders.

To provide patients suffering from whiplash, whiplash related disorders and chronic pain with the most up to date research based scientific therapy, allowing them to return to their lives, their families, and their work as soon as possible without re-exacerbation of pain and body dysfunction.

To provide healthcare professionals with a post graduate education on whiplash: the biomechanics, body kinematics, research, testing, and treatment to help introduce a new standard of care in the healthcare profession, thus helping doctors to be reimbursed appropriately for care provided, and helping to ensure patients receive proper care to prevent future pain and disability.
